Greenhouse visits
Visits to the greenhouses are available all year round for pre-booked groups. Visitors gain an insight into the processes of greenhouse horticulture with a short and informative talk on the subject – and it is quite remarkable that it should be possible to grow vegetables in this cold climate by creating warm Mediterranean conditions, all year round, through the long dark winter. Available from 9:00-17:00 pm all year around and needs to be pre-booked. The visit is private, with pricing set at ISK 13.500 for groups of up to nine guests.

Food experience
Have you ever been out for a meal in a greenhouse?
Come and enjoy a unique food experience at our restaurant, with tomatoes growing all around! Tomato soup, fresh-baked bread, and other goodies, in a charming environment among the plants.
The restaurant is open from 11:30-16:00 every day of the year.
Visit to the stable & One horse show
The Icelandic horse is known for its variety in gait, colors, strength, endurance, and good temperament. Visitors are invited to the stable, where they are given a lecture about the Icelandic horse, along with a demonstration of one horse in action – showcasing all five gaits. The horses in the stable warmly welcome guests, and coffee and tea are offered.
Visits to the stable are available throughout the year, but it is necessary to book in advance. The visit is private, with pricing set at ISK 24.500 for groups of up to nine guests.

Horse shows
During the summer, Friðheimar offers its horse show: A meeting with the Icelandic horse. Available in fourteen languages, with an accompaniment of lively Icelandic music. The show is designed for groups of 25 people or more.
The Winebar
Friðheimar Winebar is a bar, bistro and workspace located in one of our oldest greenhouses on the Friðheimar estate. Here, you can enjoy a quality glass of wine or a light meal, meet friends, read a book, or get some work done. You are warmly welcome, with no need to book in advance.
Experience it all
The greenhouses, the stable, our restaurant, and our new winebar create a great concept, and it is possible to mix and match in multiple ways – both for individuals and groups. Don’t hesitate to contact us to customize the visit to your liking.
All our services are free of charge for children under six years old and are half-price for kids from 6-14 years old.

At your door or in our store
You can find various products made from our harvest in our Little Tomato Shop. The shop is open daily from 9:00-17:00 and 24 hours a day online. You can both order and pick it up from us at Friðheimar and have it delivered to your home.
